VALENTINO: THE CRUISE COLLECTION, 2013
She’s a Principessa in waiting. The sole heiress to a tiny Mediterranean kingdom. She likes Valentino because it sounds like valentine and is aware of the importance of colour. Her colour idol is Queen Elizabeth. Her knack for an eye catching combination is something she’s admired for a while now. And it has to be said ever since she moved on from her all black mourning phase she’s never had so many complements. Pastels just work so well with her complexion. All she’d really like is a puppy. A minature poodle. Her nanny has told her that if she behaves and isn’t caught by the paparazzi cavorting on yachts with other minor royals this summer she can have one for Christmas.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
doesn’t make any sense.

Funny how we think of romance as always involving two, when the romance of solitude can be ever so much more delicious and intense. Alone, the world offers itself freely to us. To be unmasked, it has no choice.

I just think that people are so weird about nudity and the human body.
Sex is not bad, naked bodies are not bad and naked bodies don’t always have to be connected to sex.
